The following terms and conditions apply for all purchases of goods in Stelton A/S’s online shop (www.stelton.us). All information (including these terms and conditions) in the online shop and in connection with placing orders is in English and the agreement is entered into in English.

The EU Consumer Law provides the conditions for sales made through Stelton A/S’s online shop and all disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts.

The customer must accept these terms and conditions in connection with placing an order, and the terms and conditions will always be accessible at www.stelton.us. We encourage our customers to read the terms and conditions carefully.

Ordering products

When you order an item on www.stelton.us, you will receive a receipt with an e-mail to indicate that we have received your order. The actual agreement between you and Stelton A/S is considered entered into when Stelton A/S has confirmed the order.

If Stelton A/S is unable to fulfil your order, you will be contacted as quickly as possible via e-mail.

You are responsible and liable for ensuring that the entered customer information is correct, as Stelton A/S performs no further validation or control of this information.

We accept no liability for out of stock items, misprints, pricing errors or tax changes. We also take the right to cancel an order because of pricing errors.

Prices and payment

The applicable price is that which is listed in our online shop on the day of the order for the products in question. All prices are inclusive of VAT (currently 25%). We reserve the right to change prices immediately without further notice.

Shipping costs are not included in the prices.

A charge to cover shipping costs will be added to every product order placed on www.stelton.com.

The shipping costs will be indicated in the order overview that the buyer approves before the final order, as well as in the order confirmation sent via e-mail after acceptance of the purchase.

Stelton A/S uses The Shopify Payment Services and accepts payment by Dankort, VISA-Dankort, MasterCard, Eurocard and PayPal.

The payment total be deducted from your account when we ship your order.

Purchase with a gift

If a gift is related to a purchase, the gift will be considered a general discount on the complete order at the time of purchase. By cancellation or when returning (completely or partially) you must also return the gift. If Stelton A/S does not receive the gift, the value of the gift will be deducted from the value of the returned product and you will only receive the remaining amount.

Vouchers

Stelton A/S may offer vouchers as a part of our marketing efforts. These vouchers are only valid in limited periods and may be related to special conditions. The vouchers may be limited for use for selected products, product categories or collections.

The voucher that you wish to use must be entered in the shop module before you pay the order. You cannot benefit from a (forgotten) voucher when the order has been placed. You may only use one voucher per purchase. The vouchers do not have a cash value and cannot be transformed into cash, gift certificates or products.

Delivery

Stelton A/S has agreements with suitable distribution companies to deliver the order to the specified delivery address. It is beneficial and will ensure faster delivery if packages can be accepted during daytime hours at the stated delivery address.

We usually ship your order within 3-5 business days after your order has been confirmed.

As Stelton A/S cannot guarantee local delivery conditions, we cannot provide a guarantee of when the order will be delivered to the stated delivery address.

We currently deliver to continental US and Canada. Denmark (not including Greenland and the Faroe Islands), EU and Norway.

Right of cancellation

Under the EU Consumer Law, you have a 14-day right of cancellation on goods purchased from stelton.com, calculated from the day on which they are received. If you wish to return the goods, you must send us a notice by e-mail to info@studionordhaven.com including information about the invoice no. and the article no, of the item you wish to return. If the deadline is on a holiday, Saturday, national holiday, Christmas Eve, or January 1st the deadline is prolonged to the following weekday. We expect you to ship the goods to us quickly after you have given us notice of your cancellation.

If you cancel a purchase, you must return the goods in the same condition and quantity as when you received them. Packaging represents a significant portion of the product’s value as a whole. In case of missing or damaged original packaging, the product will not be considered returned in the same condition and quantity.

The right of cancellation lapses if the product has been in use, as this results in a reduction of the product’s value.

If you exercise the right of cancellation, you as a customer are responsible for the costs of sending the item back to Stelton A/S. When the returned product has been received and approved, the purchase price (exclusive of shipping) will be transferred to your account/credit card as quickly as possible and no later than 30 days after receipt. To ensure the fastest possible processing, you must include the delivery note you received with the delivery or the confirmation you received at the time of ordering. If you do not want the refund amount transferred back to your credit card, you must indicate the bank account to which you want the refund transferred.

You can also cancel the purchase by refusing to accept the goods on delivery.

Regardless of how you exercise the right of cancellation, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the goods to our address. Make sure to preserve the bill or confirmation from the shipping service you choose, as it is your responsibility that we receive the package.

Claims

Under EU Consumer Law, you have a 24-month right to invoke a lack of conformity on goods purchased from stelton.com. This means, depending on the individual situation, you can either get the item repaired or exchanged, or receive a partial refund. This assumes, of course, that the claim is justified and that the defect or damage is not a result of improper use or other damaging behaviour. Claims must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect/damage. Claims made within two months after the defect/damage is discovered will always be considered timely.

You must always contact us at info@studionordhaven.com if you wish to make a claim regarding items purchased at stelton.com. You must indicate the reason for your claim and send photo documentation and a copy of your invoice. Then we will contact you to agree on the practical details regarding your claim.

Returns must be accompanied by the delivery note that was included with the item when you received it or the order confirmation you received at the time of your order.

Returns cannot be delivered in person at any of our addresses, nor will we accept COD deliveries.
